After a high success startup in Vietnam, VinFast will enter the European market. The target launch date is mid-2022. The company’s first offering will be a dedicated EV SUV. To achieve its entry date, VinFast is currently executing a comprehensive launch plan that includes the manufacture, testing, and certification of the vehicle that will be produced in Vietnam.
A European marketing, sales, and distribution entity have been established to sell and service VinFast products. Initial target markets are Germany, France, and the Netherlands. Corporate offices and showrooms will be established in the 3 countries, and we are currently recruiting a B2B sales team for those markets.
✨ Job purpose and impact:
Our Sales Training Managers are responsible for driving the creation and execution of a sales education, learning strategy, and material for our EU markets (Germany, the Netherlands and France).
These roles will lead the development of the sales training function - continuously working with senior leaders to ensure our training program provides best-in-class training courses to our store and corporate team members that are easy to attend and evaluate.
Our Sales Training Managers will also be responsible to execute the strategy and delivering the training to the local teams.
? Your main responsibilities & key activities:
Strategy and Curriculum Development:
- Evaluate the training curriculums and methods for execution
- Implement sales training strategy and curriculum
- Maintain the standardized curriculum for onboarding new hires joining our company
- Responsible for understanding VinFast Germany strategy and sales KPIs in the Germany region; establishing quarterly and monthly targets and objectives to meet or exceed goals
- Ensure learning programs meet core business strategies and elevate the performance of the organization through collaboration with executive management
- Support the continuous learning and development needs of the company with the introduction of new technology, products, or processes/procedures
- Develop and monitor the budget for training
Training Portal:
- Identify opportunities to build and enhance blended learning capabilities using digital platforms and in-person delivery methods
- Create and maintain an online portal/app for internal training programs
Reporting:
- Create and utilize feedback tools to assess the impact of training programs and capability development to provide a framework for continuous improvement
- Consult with leadership at all levels as well as cross-functional stakeholders and partners to determine how overall business strategy and issues impact learning strategy
- Maintains and publishes weekly reports with predetermined KPIs
Team Building:
- Resolve and respond to training issues and questions from leadership and peers on the application and interpretation of processes
- Evaluate and select trainers, measuring performance to training deliverables, objectives, and goals
?You:
- You hold minimum a Bachelor’s Degree.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in performance consulting, instructional design, and/or technical training in a corporate environment with 2 years of experience in a managerial role.
- You ideally have a minimum of 2 years of automotive industry experience.
- You have experience designing both in-person and virtual training or instructional design programs - including in-person programs across a field-based / remote organization.
- You have demonstrated leadership abilities in a high-paced environment with the ability to drive tasks and outcomes.
- You have extraordinary verbal, listening, presentation, public speaking, and written communications skills.
- You have the ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and self-directed.
- You are willing to travel 25-50% to arrange training facilities and venues.
- Agile in business practice, flexible, and adept in change management.
