Job purpose and impact:

Reporting to the Head of Privacy Europe and integrated into our legal department, your mission is to take care of IT-related matters from a legal perspective and prevent any risk of breach of the regulations relating to personal data by the company.

As our IT and Data Privacy Counsel, you will oversee the legal, compliance, and privacy aspects of the IT-related activities of the European entities of VinFast while being deeply involved in the business initiatives around the market launch of VinFast connected EVs and other products and services. You will play a key role in protecting the reputation of VinFast by ensuring that legal guidelines are followed and providing detailed legal advice to the management and your sparring partners in the business departments. You will cooperate closely with the Data Protection Officer and the VinFast Global and European legal teams.

Your mission:

  • Give accurate and timely counsel to business departments and management in the framework of the IT and Data Privacy related operations of VinFast and in the further structuring.
  • Provide legal support and guidance in particular in the area of IT, Privacy, and GDPR to the business teams.
  • Analyze and control the compliance of the activities of personal data processing projects within the framework of DPIA and propose remedial measures;
  • Identify the risks generated by a project of the data processing activity, apply effective risk management techniques
  • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, contracts, other legal documents, and technical and organizational measures with customers, suppliers, partners, and public authorities, mainly in the area of IT and Privacy s
  • Draft, review, and negotiate data protection agreements
  • Cooperate with the DPO to identify discrepancy or lack of conformity for the processing activities in production as well as the proposed remedies;
  • Analyze the relevance of requests to exercise rights before processing by the DPO team
  •  Help the legal department to follow the processes and methods initiated by the Data Protection Officer Europe.
  • Participate in the management of disputes: risk analysis, management of relations with lawyers, collection of evidence from operational staff, drafting of letters and formal notices, drafting and validation of transactional protocols.
  • Present a monthly legal watch list
  • Be up-to-date in terms of legal developments and communicate to the organization in a clear and understandable way.

?Your Profile :

  • Fully qualified lawyer in a European country
  • Ideally, you hold a Master's in Digital law / IT Law or in Personal Data Protection law
  • You have between 2 and 3 years of experience as an in-house data protection / IT counsel. Experience in the internet of things and connectivity is a plus.
  • You are working autonomously and with attention to detail
  • You are fluent in English (written and oral), and you have a spirit of synthesis and analysis.
  • You have taken part in data protection impact assessment (DPIA) workshops, you made control regarding the measures pushed by the operational team, and you have been able to propose, for cases requiring it, additional risk reduction measures if necessary
  • You have experience with risk analysis methods.

Charging Operations Manager

 Your role: 

You will be part of the European Charging team, which is responsible for all the charging programs within the European region, namely home charging, public charging and the charging infrastructure at VinFast Showrooms and Service Centers. As a process-driven and resourceful person, you will work cross functionally and be responsible for establishing consistent customer-centric business processes on a European basis across the various charging programs. You will handle financial tasks, execute agreements, evaluate, onboard, and manage a range of industry leading vendors. As a self-starter, you will need to understand core business operations and have vendor management experience. Additionally, you will track the recurrent issues encountered by our clients and improve and/or give feedback on our EV charging processes. 

Your key accountabilities: 

  • You coordinate and manage the operational programs and workflows that support ordering, delivery, installation, and ownership of our charging solutions. 
  • You work with our Charging team and Finance Department to manage vendor business purchase requisitions and customer points of sales. 
  • You monitor approved vendor pricing across European projects. 
  • You assist with business forecasting and manage the ordering processes of EV Charging goods and services and lend a hand in the procurement of ad-hoc items as necessary. 
  • You develop and manage relationships with partners to support our charging programs whilst maintaining a long-term vision and partnership strategy.

Our future Showroom Project Analyst will have overall responsibility and accountability for oversees all construction related projects for the company in in Germany and the Netherlands including but not limited to: 

? Your main responsibilities:

  • Support construction management team and leadership team with ongoing project management, creating PR/ PO workflows, and showroom development operations 
  • Organizing and running internal meetings with resp. stakeholders  
  • Collaboration with construction managers, finance, controlling, legal, and purchasing to ensure smooth project advancement

  • You hold minimum a bachelor’s degree in relevant area of study (Business, Real Estate, Economics, Finance) or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in construction and project management for commercial and/or manufacturing facilities.
  • You preferably have experience interfacing with general contractors, vendors, and service providers.
  • You are fluent in English (written and verbal) and bilingual/native speaker in German. Any other Europe language would be a plus.
  • Your driving license is clean and up to date.
  • You are proficient with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

We are looking for our VinFast Regional Technical Training Specialist

After a highly success startup in Vietnam, VinFast will enter the international markets like US and Europe. Target launch date is mid-2022. The company’s first offering will be a dedicated EV SUV. To achieve its entry date, VinFast is currently executing on a comprehensive launch plan that includes the manufacture, testing, and certification of the vehicle that will be produced in Vietnam. A Europe marketing, sales and distribution entity has been established to sell and service VinFast products. Initial target market is Germany, France and the Netherlands. Corporate offices will be located in the Paris, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and showrooms established throughout each country.

Your role:

Based in the Netherlands, our Regional Technical Training Specialist will be a key member of the Aftersales training team.

This position requires someone who is flexible, proactive, highly organized, and hard-working. Individuals should have a passion for and understanding electric vehicles, and EV experience would be an asset. It also requires someone with outstanding communication, presentation, and organizational skills while demonstrating a positive and professional appearance.

As one of our Regional Technical Training Specialist, you will take responsibility for developing and updating courses, mentoring Service Technicians in areas of technical knowledge and procedures and promoting excellence in customer service and communication.

? Your main responsibilities:

  • Provide service-specific training to VinFast technicians on electric vehicles equipped with complex automotive/electromechanical systems (powertrain, passive restraint system, steering/suspension/brakes, thermal management).
  • Provide specific & general training on high voltage DC systems.
  • Train and develop Service Technicians on inspection, repair, and service of VinFast electric vehicles.
  • Facilitate instructor-led and virtual Technical Training courses on vehicles equipped with complex automotive and electro-mechanical systems to enable employees to work safely at all times and to adhere to VinFast standards
  • Attend TtT (Train the Trainer) courses as required.
  • Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles.
  • Contribute towards continuous improvement of automotive technical and facilitation skills to ensure the delivery quality and effectiveness of all training courses meet or exceed VinFast standards.
  • Develop and update training resources and materials in close consultation with the Aftersales Training Manager and Service Engineering.
  • Maintain close relationships with partner teams such as Engineering, and regional technical and field support teams.
  • Ensure that programmes and processes are developed, assessed, communicated, and administered in compliance with VinFast’s objectives.
  • Contribute to promoting a unique and exceptional customer journey experience.

? Your profile:

  • You hold a degree or a Certificate in Automotive Technology.
  • You have minimum 7 year’s automotive experience.
  • You have high willingness to travel and a valid driver’s license.
  • You are fluent in English (written and verbal) and a bilingual/native speaker of Dutch.
  • You have experience as a technical trainer - preferred.
  • You have an automotive technician background - preferred.
  • You have knowledge and experience working with electric vehicles - preferred.
  • You have a confident, proactive, flexible, professional, and motivated personality.

Mobile Service Manager
France, Germany, Netherlands

 Your role:

As our Mobile Service Manager, you are the leader of our remote mobile service teams and direct line of support for our local mobile service teams. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the growth and improvements of a world class mobile service operation in Europe. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional on location service experience to our customers, developing team members, managing day-to-day mobile operations, and preparing mobile service to meet the needs of Vinfast customers. 

The ideal candidate will possess a proactive and can-do mindset, with a determined work ethic. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective field, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. 

? Your main responsibilities:

  • Build a high impact team of Mobile Service Technical Specialists to support Vinfast customers. 
  • Manage the team in accordance with company policy and within a health and safety environment, make sure we have the best performed and talented Mobile team. 
  • Perform regular ¨ride alongs¨, experiencing the difficulties faced by your team members and measuring individual performance. 
  • Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan, including management of, and reporting. 
  • Maintain the Mobile fleet, ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest possible standards and are equipped correctly for the work required. 
  • Design and establish a world class mobile Mobile Service Programme for Vinfast European Market, that exceeds customer expectations and always promotes safety and quality assurance. 
  • Drive energy, passion and enthusiasm towards Vinfast customer experience. 
  • Maintain a high level of communication, both with your team and the teams of your peers in marketing, sales and service to ensure a full understanding of the potential of the service offerings and the benefits that your team can bring to the company as a whole. 
  • Monitor customer service trends to make necessary improvements and assist the team in developing standards and processes to continuously improve the overall service experience. 
  • Develop and streamline specific EU market processes where necessary, and scale efforts to maintain effective and efficient operational development together with Service and business stakeholders, partnering with all members within the Service team to ensure each customer experience is better than their previous one. 
  • Gain a thorough understanding of Vinfast vehicle systems, field failure patterns, and customer use cases to develop diagnostic and root cause analysis and rectification methods if required. 
  • Work with the appropriate teams to establish key metrics that will ensure the Mobile Service Program contributes positively to the overall Service organization objectives. 
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships, across Vinfast Service Centers in Europe, Vinfast Afersales team and Global Engineering. 

? Your profile:

  • You have minimum 5 years Automotive Service Leadership experience. 
  • You ideally have a technical certification in Automotive Technology or in Programme/Business Management or equivalent work experience. 
  • You are fluent in English (written and verbal). Additional language skills in German, French or Dutch would be advantageous. 
  • OEM Specific Technician Training experience will be advantageous.
  • You have an exceptional ability to interface and collaborate with individuals and groups at international level. 
  • You are solution oriented with a high ability to identify root causes of problems and ability to provide timely and effective solutions. 
  • You have a proven track reco of excellence in customer service and a true focus on quality. 
  • You have experience working with project planning tools. 
  • You have experience maintaining product and company reputation by complying with regional governing regulations.  
  • You pay high attention to detail and have a proactive can-do attitude.
